Join us to help launch a new work of historic fiction by bestselling author Belinda Alexandra.

Set in Paris in 1946, The Masterpiece is the story of an intriguing secret hidden in a painting.

A young woman finds herself caught in a wartime betrayal and a race against time as she seeks the father she never knew… and to prove his innocence.

Along the way, she uncovers the complicated friendship between two art dealers and the artist they both loved.

Belinda Alexandra is an internationally bestselling author of historical fiction whose books include White Gardenia, The Invitation, The Mystery Woman and The French Agent. She also volunteers for WIRES and is the patron of World League for the Protection of Animals (Australia).

Belinda will be in conversation with The Bookshop Bowral's own Marie Fitzpatrick.
